In the name of environmentalism the environment is being destroyed.

In a mistaken effort to support grizzly bear recovery, the USFS, prompted by environmentalist lawsuits, is destroying roads and removing culverts.  Road rip results in a degradation of the stream habitat of endangered bull trout.

Road rip proposed by Flathead FS would rip another 107 miles of roads in the North Fork and South Fork

Road rip is being written into the forest plans for Kootenai, Lolo and Idaho Panhandle National Forests with the Grizzly Bear Recovery Zone EIS

In a lawsuit by a local environmentalist group a federal judge ordered a snowmobile trail to be permanently closed.  The FS allowed the greens to do the work.  Take a look at the havoc that they wrought on the environment.
