The purple areas are designated wilderness like the Cabinets

The brown areas are inventoried roadless areas.  The areas inside the green lines represent the inventory of roadless areas in 1987.  All of the brown outside the green lines was added by the klinton rule in 2001 

The white  areas are non-roadless National Forest areas where roads are allowed.
